Q: (Quetzalcoatl) The Winged Serpent is one of the most entertaining monster horror movies you will ever see. Despite being 40 years old, it holds up very well, with a nice retro look reminiscent of police shows, like watching an episode of Law and Order. It isn’t as much a frightening movie, more of a thriller, that has one moving up to the edge of their seat. Not a movie easily explained, best to pop it into the DVD player and let the story unfold. btw: The director’s commentary is well worth watching for anyone interested in how great movies are made.
